what would happen if the tenant was vulnerable in any way?.

The mess both the tenant & myself have complained about this. The tenant has to climb over  this to get to prepayment meeter .When questioned E R staff appeared to be unaware that  this is a prepayment meeter.

Off out meeting in Voluntary Action older peoples network.

Pay bills the chase up poor work at our bit with the roof & rendering this will not go away. Soon there will be a start made to have a public meeting about starting a new association in our area

Weekend again

It is Saturday so have a good day

Yesterday at the meeting in the council offices I had a two to one meeting ( two council staff & me ) with staff from East Renfrewshire Council ( E R). This was about repairs my view & experiences. I highlighted issues about repairs failing and the poor service from the out of hours contractors. Notes were taken and I hope for some feed back. Our council E R will be having several such meetings with others soon.

Although it was not the right place & time I raised the issues about the poor work being carried out by the roof and rendering contractors.

Just before my meeting I managed to have a quick word with E R's staff who is responsible to oversee this work.

Anyway it is the week end so no more ranting have a fine weekend all.

Black Friday

Hi all

Just about to have breakfast. Yesterday I was looking at thing on the web & i clicked on to I am felling lucky up popped a sight Where do eggs come from. This is a tracker back to farms where they came from, The brown one is from a local farm that supplies local shops. The others  are in a fact sort of blue ( Tesco Finest ) are all the way from Surrey.

Off down to council office for a short  meeting about repairs most about issues I have been raising on local issues Then I will have some me time.

   It is an injustice there are people who are not receiving assistance when they require it

for short time. Please assist if you become aware of any one that may require help for a shot time. You may require it yourself someday.

Well the work is moving on one block is almost finished. The next part will drainage works. I believe the total time for the works will be over a year. I trust it will be worth it.

Good morning

I have contacted East Renfrewshire Council ( E R ) about the state of the mess & the inconvenience being caused. I have highlighted the potential injury to residents & tenants also some of our local outdoor pets could come to harm. We ave one loveable local adventurous cat I would hate to see anything happen.

Cat wants to know what I am doing on Face-book..

I have contacted our council and I understand that E R will arranged a visit to try and attend to this vexing issue. During a conversation with a council official I was informed that they were unaware of the fact that there are prepayment meters in the estate. You may have questions that E R should be answering.

I am waiting for a reply to issues raised.
