 Just \a catch up on Tuesday I attended a meeting at Barrhead Housing with other reps from across East Renfrewshire. We covered a range of subjects and achieved some satisfaction. 

Yesterday I was at a presentation down at voluntary Action. A good day with much  information passed arround..

I hope to have information on the cost of fly tipping clean up.

Remember our meeting on Tuesday 6Th November 2012 in our wee hall.  

Fly tipping

Just had an ear full from a person who stays in our local . Not happy about being caught fly tipping. They think I can or will do anything to get the ticket stoped . There is much that wast can be used for and not just land fill.Ask arround someone ma be able to use any castoffs. There are places willing to take stuff off you.

                                               It is your one fault if you get caught fly tipping.

I have been doing some research in to the cost of fuel my cost on an on line account is one third of a card account. Any views contact us.

If any one has information on the state of road ways pavements can you report it and also inform us as I am keeping information on this issue.

As I posted yesterday I attended a meeting down at Voluntary Action. We recived a briefing on the

reminiscing day.This was well attended and the next on dew on Thursday 15Th November 2012.

I have just got my desk top up and running again.I am no expert but found is easy Being someone who is useless with my hands I am pleased. Tuesday News flash

                                                                                 Hi all

                                              It appears on be on all the news programs

  A shot time a go it was on T V about the cost of fuel and keeping warm. One of the presenters suggested putting on a cardigan. My first thought was how long will it take for our wonderful leaders to give some advice keep your out door coat on. ( remember that one ) .

Perhaps we can put our wee hall to some use during the day for all vulnerable people in Dalmeny.

I will post about the next reminiscing day event after a meeting on Thursday.

I can well remember ice building up on the inside of windows & the outdoor toilet freezing up.

Monday morning news

                   A verry good morning to all our dear and gentle followers on or wee blog.

              On Saturday morning I posted out letters to all  regular's who attend our meetings I hope for a good turn out on Tuesday 6Th November 2012 at 7 pm .

Anyone is welcome so come allong to your wee hall and give some suport. We will all have to endure what is coming with all the cuts. We can help if anyone has a little time 2 or 3 hours a month .

     Do you have a dampness issue please get in touch as this is the subject of a resent communication from East Renfrewshire council (E R C ). Also any other issues council tennants may have.This applies to all tenants of Barrhead Housing (B H ) who are welcome to all of our meetings. We have been asked  by  B H to attend a several meetings in the next few weeks.Any B H tennant who has any input please get in touch I will try and arrange it you to attend.

Just going out to post letters about our meeting on Tuesday 6Th November in the wee hall we all love The no to my thing in the third sector.

Yesterday I recived an e mail from Barrhead Housing inviting me to attend a range of meetings on a range of issues. I will post more on this issue soon.

I have also recived the minute on the last meeting I attended in the council offices I raised the issue of the long vacant block of flats in Kerr St. The issue is still in the hands of the insurance so we wait.

It's getting cold

 

                Well the carry on  from this government of ours about the cost of fuel would make a good T V soap. On  T V this morning the comment was 20 million homes will be rationing fuel use this year.That is got to be more than a third of our population.

 So please check out any help you can get. .

I have contacted our council to register dissatisfaction in regards to the reply about the pavement in Blackwood St.

There appears to be a an increase in fly tipping I have been trying to find a costing of any clean up.

                  This was taken in Chapel St. From Crossarthurlie St the council recycling unit is closer.

                                 Last week we remarked about heating your home.yesterday I was punishing my self & watching Prime Minister's Question time when he claimed our wonderful government would force the power companies to give us the lowest tariff. I was so shocked that I dropped my glass of fresh apple juice. So I have had a look at what various provider's have to offer.

The other day I was reading one of the on line papers that allow coments.There was a reply about costs from a council engineer from somewhere . The poster's remark was about the setting of heating in this home he visited. The old person  had the setting set to low for the unit to work when the engineer pointed this out the vulnerable person became upset an said they could not afford the cost .

This is why on this blog we have posted about looking after one another .

Must go out an get some cartridges for printer to send out letter about our next meeting in your wee hall .

Just studding several documents recived on the changes to social housing. I must go and have some hot soup.

I would ask all our residents to remember and take their bins in after collection it is unsightly and anyone could fall over them.
