Not to bad only 27hrs latter drain cleared & unblocked quite a mess on pavement

Had or walk around all wet well hope something will come out of it time will tell.

We contacted Scottish water on this. Lets see how long it takes to do something about this time should be 06:36 on the 28th & not the29th sorry about date on camera image.                             

It is a wet morning just hope it stops for our estate walkabout have a few things to say. Hope to get some results.

We have got more concerns about the cold calling please can you all keep an eye open for cold callers in your area. Our blog has more on this.

With changes to housing benefits looming do you know what is heading our way. We will post more information soon.On a local point it is our estate walkabout on Thursday morning starting from our wee hall. We start at 10am hope it is dry.

Are you as fed up with cold calling as I am. I have been in touch with our trading standards an they have sent me a file on no cold calling areas. I like it and will bring this our at our next meeting.I will be making enquires about getting it on our blog so watch this space.

We all have heard about all the issues that have emerged  from cold calling & the targeting old & vulnerable people.

A follow up to last blog I have contacted Trading Standards and they will look into this issue @ will get back to me. I will then post as appropriate.

 Yesterday your blog editor answered the door entry system the claim was gas & electricity . As it has been some time since I have had a meter reader in I allowed access to the close. On cumming to my flat door the transpires that the caller was from an other power coy trying to get me to change.This is in spite of no cold callers signs at the street door & my door.He was of course sent away.

As this rep did not go to any other door in my block I had a look out the window the caller then went to a flat entry up the road

Last time this practice took place this association conducted a quick check and this coy was only going  to certain doors. ( older people )

What is of more concern is I phoned and wrote this coy requesting them not to call .

I have contacted trading standards and await information on any action if possible I will post the result.          

OUR WEE HALL 

Today I attended a meeting with Barrhead Housing we had a good  session and it is hoped that we will be able to move forward with a closer relationship. One of the main items was the Scottish Social Housing Charter & tennant participation. We hope to engage more input from Barrhead Housing tenants. 

Last Thursday I attended the Flair meeting held in Paisley I had received a short notice invitation from Barrhead Housing Association. This proved to be an excellent meeting. I was a bit disappointed to see I was the only registered tennant group member in attendance despite others being invited.

The presentation from the housing regulator was excellent.I will prepare more on this soon.

Sorry little bird did not bring you anything from the excellent buffet.

Its the holiday season and we are having a brake from meetings our next meeting will be on Tuesday 4th Sep 2012.I will send out information soon. Our next meeting is dew to be held on Tuesday 12Th June at 7 pm We have several thing to discuss please com allong. I have been assured that the hall will be open as I contacted hall dept on Friday To insure we will get in. ( remember the past ). \we will be happy to see tenants from Barrhead Housing there are things that effect you.

We also are preparing a estate agreement with East Ren council please assist in this.
