Well another day has come and gone it's been a good day I hope you all have had a nice Saturday.

I have sent E mail to head  roads  about the state of the pavement in Blackwood St. We shall see what happens.

Off out I must try and get a few photos on a dry day for this little blog. Phoned Scottish Watter in an attempt to find out the cost of cleaning up

It is Scottish Water who pick up the tab for this clean up as far as I can make out. I will continue to chase this up.I Have also spoken to Tesco about all the trolleys lying around we live in hope of uplifts.  
This is at the foot of Cogan  St at Levern Burn.

          All of us are felling the pinch at the shops I wonder of this is the reason for costs going up.
             
          More on fly tipping this was taken to day in Chapel St. It would be just as easy to get to the council recycling unit. 

             Any way our next meeting will be held at 7pm on Tuesday 2nd October2012.

As the article states we have various ideas including a no cold calling zone. This is one that should go ahead I believe that certain companies are targeting vulnerable people.        As you look through this blog you will see that one of the issues highlighted is fly tipping 

                                           This is the Levern Burn at the bottom of Cogan St

Both shots taken from the same spot.The bottom one a few weeks after a clean up this is a fresh tip. A team would have had to go in to remove the rubbish this costs money, your council tax pound.

 

 

  So think about it. Remember you can be fined for fly tipping and also get a criminal record.
