Its Monday

This fine Monday morning at 11am will see the opening of the Barrhead men's shed. This is a group of people who are starting this project for people ( women  & men ) in the over 50s group. The men.s shed idea started in Australia and has spread to the U K. There are several in operation in Scotland. The hard working team who are pioneering the venture in Barrhead hope to have thing like woodwork & other handy person crafts up and running.

To day is a sort of taster brainstorming day so come along and give us your views of thing you would like to do,or do you have skills that you could pass along.

Come along and give your views. Today's ground breaking event will start at 11 am.All will be made welcome. You will be treated to a sandwich lunch.

The other week we had an estate walkabout with  E R housing management and a leading councillor several major issues were raised an it is hoped work will start soon.
