In the rain

Diverted Virgin Rail Train passing through Barrhead station to-day. Virgin Trains will be diverted through Barrhead this is dew to bridge failure on the West Coast main line south of Motherwell.

Some from Barrhead's past will recall before the track was singled some time ago. We can recall the struggle to keep the line & station open when it was threatened with closure.
