I wonder if we will see something like this with the plans the new train operator has  in mind for us.


I was checking my on line gas & electric account I saw that my direct debit amount was incorrect. So I contacted my supplier who informed me that I had left them & went elsewhere (S P) are in the process of getting my supply back to them from Scottish Gas (S G)

This all happened when my local housing authority East Renfrewshire Council (E R ) instructed S G to take over the supply. S G is E R's preferred supplier and  E R arranged the change when the flat next to mine went vacant. E R my council  advises me that they contacted S G pointing out that they should not have taken over my supply & ordering them to return my supply to S P.

I wish to thank my local Citizens Advice (C A)  who assisted me in resolving this issue as I was getting nowhere fast. The advisor was able to get the information I was unable to get about who authorised the switch. The advisor & my self contacted  E R who moved at what may be seen to be breakneck speed in resolving this issue..

I now wait for thing to return to normal.
