More on the work

The contractors staff are hard at it a bit of a noise but they will be O K at the end of the day .

 And it is wet damp with some light snow.

Rant on

I have asked for an update on The Wall it is still being looked at . We had some success with The Steps & we will win with The wall

Roof & Rendering

Gertrude Place before the much awaited roof & rendering work .

There is a lot of local disruption and it is a bit of a hassle.
 










More as work continues . I have spoken to East Renfrewshire Council ( E R ) about the clean up & have been assured that there will be a snagging visit & local public meeting towards the end of the contract,

The start of the week

Work continues on the scaffolding a bit of a strain but there is a  brake down in communication people are being left in the dark. People have a right to know what is happening there are vulnerable people being put under sever strain & this is not the way to treat people.

It's Sunday and people are out working on the scaffolding

I hope that this will not be a extra charge on the cost of the contract.

The work & cost must be high & I will be asking for assurance the we will get best value.

Saturday morning

Good morning all it's cold outside the roads are slippery take care when out so do not forget any vulnerable person you may know.

The scaffolding saga rear of Gertrude PL Barrhead 21/01/2015 0900 hrs


Glad to see the removal of old unusable bin  shelter. This should make is better to use wheelie bins. Despite the fast that we have a total of 15 bins including all the recycling ones.

Chimney and roof tiles coming down a bit of a job with the wind blowing I am not happy about skip on pavement and have referred the issue to East Renfrewshire Council ( E R ).

I hope it will be all worth it when the work is completed
