I have sent a reply to the council about the possession on the repair table for Blackwood  St. I have asked for a review as I be live that dew to the proportion of vulnerable people merit action. 

Also may I ask you to comment on fly tipping across East Renfrewshire. The cost of clean up is diverting funds from other issues where there is grater need.

Yesterday I had a caller from one of the power Coy's to change supplier. I have a no cold calling sign on my door also there is two at close door. I will be tacking action on this as he refused to leave until I shut door in his fase . If this happens to you please report it

I have also recived a reply from East Renfrewshire Council about the state of the pavement in Blackwood St we are on a list of some 200 pavements on a priority l will be chasing this up as I an far from satisfied with this responce. I must admit it was a personally signed letter and not a computer generated one. ( nice in this day and age) The letter dose lay out facts including  fiscal issues which we all understand only to well.

Morning on a Saturday

                                                                      Good morning all

I hope for a nice day just had a look at Dundee satellite weather site not very hopeful. This brings a return to the rising cost of heating. Did anyone see the interview with the power coy executive ?.
A bit lost for words. It now returns to the fact we must look after one another.

    Do not sit in the cold ask for help if you require it. I wait in fear of a certain political party trundle out the bit about sitting in our homes with outdoor coats on. ( remember that one ?) some people do that as it is .

Anyway rant over I am jut going to have breakfast. I have some wild apples to juice werry nice.

Being angry about heating bills wont help please get advise and check up on your elderly relations friends and neighbours.

Yesterday I attended a meeting down at the council office's together with council officials and  various tennants who raised concern about the current re wire program. The issues raised give rise to serious concern  all of which have been taken on board some will be raised at council management level. I will also raise other issues at the next housing liaison meeting

                                                 It is wet this morning over Dalmeny

                                        Your blogger has some exciting news for you.  

   Last night I was a meeting down in the council office. This was all about shaping our future.
various good points were put forward.  We were split up in to three groups one of the main points raised was affordable housing and the aging population. Part of this is that we live in a desirable area with schools being a success storey. A point raised was some people are living a lot longer in parts of our administrative area, however there was alarming differences from the affluent to the disadvantaged.

One idea put out was to copy a Scandinavian idea that is something best described as prefabs.  We will post more soon.

To day I will be down at the council offices again this is about issues relating to the councils compliance in bringing homes up to standard's.
