I have requested that the contractor for our roof & rendering deploy C C T V & alarms on the s © c © scaffolding  during works. I have also contacted East Renfrewshire Council on this.

Hi Friday again

Soon the work on our roof & rendering will start. We will have scaffolding around our homes. You will have a visit from |Lovell Group (L G ) ( the contractor ) who will answer any questions you may have.
There are two phone No 0141 773 5710 during working hrs which are from 08.00 hrs to 16.30 Mondays to Friday. There should be no weekend working   .

There is an out of hrs. emergency no  0141 773 5770.

You should contact your home insurance Co to advise them when work starts.

Please insure all venerable friends & relations are aware of what is happening and are not at risk.

I have asked Lovell ( L G) about security & safety during works. I understand that L G will risk access each building to see if there is a requirement for an alarm & c c t v on the scaffolding. I have requested that both are deployed during non working hrs.

Hi All

To-day Wednesday 08/10/2014 you should receive a visit from the Lovell Group (L G).

The people from L G  are the contractors for the roof & rendering contract to our homes please ask them about ant issues you may have.

When the contract starts L G will staff on site every day to deal with any issues. If you have a vulnerable friend or relative please check that they have all assistance they require.

Saturday Blog

Yesterday I took part in a walkabout with management of  Barrhead Housing ( B H ). We had a look at various properties in Barrhead Central in the most good. There was some fly tipping found and this will be taken care of.

During the walkabout I raised the vexing matter of the derelict factory at the rear of Gladstone Av.

This factory has been in a state of disrepair for years & is dangerous this is being used by youths as a hideaway. As this property lies between  B H properties in Gladsone Av & Barns St I have asked if it is possible that B H liaise with East Renfrewshire Council ( E R) to see if the building can be demolished as a dangerous structure. I have raised this issue before but to no avail. I believe this land could be used for housing. I hope to receive a reply soon.

Friday at last

Hi all

Yesterday I paid back the funds to East Renfrewshire Council ( E R ) that were left over when Association wound up. The accounts and paper work will now be held in E R's archives for the retention period. I am personally happy to see the completion of this matter as there was no movement in bank account for over two years.

Late last night I received an invitation from Barrhead Housing ( B H ) to participate in their estate walkabout I shall try to attend as the walkabout should take place this afternoon.

Good morning

Well it is the start of a new mount and  like the song the times area changing. What do you wish to see happening in our wee bit ?. You may be  interested to know that from the 20th of this mount we charged 5p for bags from all supermarkets this all adds up so take one with you.
